Meet Charlie
CHARLIE'S STORY
Britne & Jared Jackson recently celebrated their first wedding anniversary in Winder, Georgia. The newlywed couple was shocked to find out about halfway through Britne’s pregnancy that their first baby would struggle with CDH. They prepared themselves for the worst, but stayed hopeful.
On April 9th Britne gave birth at Northside Hospital in Atlanta. The Jacksons named their first born son Charlie. Charlie underwent surgery just three days after birth to repair his hole and lung issues. So far, everything is looking good in his recovery and the Jacksons feel they are now able to breathe a sigh of relief.
This journey has included a lot of firsts for the Jacksons, but they are determined to remain optimistic and focused on a healthy long-term future with Charlie. While Fore Hadley is glad to support the family with financial resources, we also believe that hope is one of the most powerful resources, and most importantly, an unlimited one.
About the Fore Hadley Angels in the NICU Fund
Support and proceeds for the Fore Hadley Angels in the NICU Fund will go towards assisting current and future families like Charlie’s, by providing financial contributions to assist families with the costs associated with extended, long distance travel and living arrangements. Costs that are often a must to ensure the proper specialty care for CDH babies.
